Tom Choi is a Director at Berkeley Research Group. He is a noted international natural gas economist and strategist, who advises clients on energy economics and market fundamentals. During his 30-year career in management consulting, he has worked with senior management in client organizations on making strategic decisions in the face of risk and uncertainty. He has worked with international energy companies, local utilities, midstream and upstream players, investment banks/private equity firms, and governmental agencies. Prior to joining BRG, he served as a senior advisor for McKinsey & Co and the Natural Gas Practice Leader for Deloitte MarketPoint, where he helped develop the World Gas Model. He has a M.S. in Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University and B.A. in Economics from University of California, Los Angeles.

Mr. Choi provided testimony before a Congressional subcommittee examining U.S. liquefied natural gas export policy. He has been quoted in publications including BBC, Forbes, Financial Times, World Oil, Energy Journal, Houston Chronicle, Platts, National Public Radio, Natural Gas Intelligence, and Oil & Gas Journal.
