Kate Fay

Kate Fay is a nationally known expert in the field of environmental policy design, analysis and implementation, particularly as it applies to environmentally sound energy development. With over 35 years of public and private sector experience in Washington DC and the West, Ms. Fay brings to any job an unusual perspective and set of capabilities rarely available in one individual. Kate Fay joined Noble Energy in 2013 as Manager, Environmental and Regulatory Policy. She is now Director of Noble’s new Climate Program and Policy, where she is responsible for developing a thoughtful and responsible approach to climate changes initiatives. Previously, Ms. Fay served in the Obama Administration as the EPA Region 8 Energy and Climate Advisor. She also served in Colorado Governor Bill Ritter’s Administration as Energy Manager at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Ms. Fay holds a BS degree in natural resources economics and public policy from the University of California, Berkeley and was a German Marshall Fund Environment Program Fellow.
