Chris Moser, Executive Vice President, Head of Competitive Markets and Policy, leads the regulatory and government affairs teams at NRG. In this newly created position, he is responsible for advancing and protecting competitive energy markets while developing NRG’s advocacy strategy and defending the company’s interests both at the state and federal levels. Prior to this role, Chris served for six years as Executive Vice President, Market and Plant Operations, where he oversaw both the operation of the company’s generation fleet and the commodity trading activity. Chris has a master’s degree from the
University of Pittsburgh’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs and a bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College.
