Julie Mayo

Julie Mayo is a Houston-based partner in the Global Projects Practice at Baker Botts. Over her nearly 20 years of practice, Julie has developed a broad-based energy transactions practice encompassing energy project development, mergers and acquisitions, consortium structuring and other transactions throughout the value chain and in all industry sectors, with a particular focus on natural gas and LNG. Julie’s project development experience encompasses all aspects of the project: from construction to commercial contracts and consortium structuring to chartering vessels. Julie has worked extensively on major domestic and international projects and transactions. She is also actively involved in matters related to the energy transition, including working on a number of projects and transactions related to the ongoing role of natural gas and LNG in implementing the energy transition. She received her BA and MPH from Emory University and her JD from The University of Texas School of Law.
