Cully Cavness is the Co-Founder of Crusoe Energy Systems Inc, which deploys “Digital Pipeline Units” to consume stranded or flaring natural gas at the wellhead without the need for pipeline infrastructure development. Prior to Crusoe, Cully was VP of Finance at Highlands Natural Resources, an exploration and production firm that drills shale oil and gas wells in Colorado and Montana. Cully was previously an oil and gas investment banker at Petrie Partners and geothermal power project developer at Global Geothermal. Cully majored in geology at Middlebury College, completed an MBA at Oxford’s Said School of Business, and was a 2010 Thomas J. Watson Fellow in energy economics. Cully and his wife, Emily, live in Denver, Colorado. Cully is an avid endurance athlete, and recently completed IronMan Zurich
