Ben Ratner

Associate Vice President, Environmental Defense Fund

Ben leads a dynamic team of business experts catalyzing leadership in technology, disclosure, and policy to reduce potent methane emissions from the oil and gas industry across the globe. Prior to joining EDF, Ben advised large corporate clients in a range of industries, as Senior Associate at the management consulting firm McKinsey & Co. Ben also practiced law at international law firm Latham & Watkins, LLP, with a focus on environmental law and regulation. He is a graduate of Stanford Law School, where he led the Mock Trial Program. Ben also is a graduate of Rice University, and former participant in Stanford Graduate School of Business’s Ignite program on entrepreneurship.
