Casey O’Shea

Casey O’Shea is a managing director at FTI Consulting where he is a strategic advisor to global energy firms and trade associations. Since 2012 he has worked with CLNG to expand US natural gas exports. Prior to his work at FTI Consulting Mr. O’Shea spent a decade as a senior political strategist, House leadership aide, and chief of staff to a Louisiana congressman. He developed energy policy subject matter expertise while working on EPACT 2005, GOMESA 2006 and EISA 2007; and was deeply involved in the reconstruction of the Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina. He holds an MBA in International Business from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and a BA in Political Science from the University of Mississippi. He was named a “Rising Star of American Politics” in 2005 by Campaigns and Elections Magazine and is a member of the International Association of Energy Economics.
