Senior Vice President and General Manager, Gas Processing & Hydrogen Business, UOP Honeywell

Rebecca Liebert serves as the Senior Vice President and General Manager for UOP’s Gas Processing and Hydrogen business.  UOP is a leading global supplier of processing technology, catalysts, adsorbents, process plants, and engineering services to the petroleum refining, petrochemical, gas processing, and renewable fuels industries. UOP is part of Honeywell International’s Performance Materials and Technologies strategic business group.

Rebecca previously served as the Vice President and General Manager for Honeywell Electronic Materials business. She joined Honeywell in 2006 from Alcoa, Inc, where she was president of Reynolds Food Packaging, a $750 million business that supplies extrusion and thermoformed plastic plus aluminum sheet and pans to the food packaging market in North America and Europe.

Prior to joining Alcoa, Rebecca held positions of increasing responsibility at Nova Chemicals, a leading supplier of plastics and chemicals. In her last role with the company, she served as business director for the Solid Polystyrene and High Performance Polystyrene business, an $800 million global business consisting of seven product lines produced in five North America manufacturing locations. Liebert began her career at Arco Chemical Co. as a development engineer.

Rebecca holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Kentucky, a doctorate in chemical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, and an M.B.A from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
