Tracey Cameron
Consultant
Ceres
Tracey Cameron is a consultant for the oil & gas team at Ceres, a non-profit working with industry, financial institutions and policy makers to accelerate a sustainable economy.
Tracey is currently coordinating a broad group of stakeholders in the Permian Basin to develop a program to provide resources to less capitalized operators to reduce methane emissions in operations. The goal is to significantly reduce emissions from oil and gas operations in the region while supporting the local communities. Additionally, this work aims to improve the methane emissions intensity of products from the region to be competitive in global markets that increasingly expect ‘clean’ energy products.
Tracey also coordinates small gatherings that include participants from across the energy sector and financial institutions to explore thought leadership in the energy transition. The group drafted the Key Elements for a Net Zero Transition at Oil and Gas Exploration & Production Companies and continues to build on that work by exploring innovative and cooperative means to achieve climate goals.
Prior to taking the consulting role, Tracey spent five years working on the Ceres oil and gas team, and fifteen years at Fidelity where she held roles in data management, corporate governance/engagement, and helped launch the ESG Office.
