Scott Buechler

Scott Buechler was appointed the Delaware Production Manager for ExxonMobil in July 2024 after previously serving as the Integration Executive for Operations and Safety for ExxonMobil’s Pioneer acquisition.  From 2019 to 2023, he was the Mid-Continent Operations Manager, Permian Net Zero Strategy Manager, and Business Planning Manager for XTO.  Other experiences, include serving as the in-country Logistics Manager for ExxonMobil Papua New Guinea and various engineering roles providing worldwide completions support.  Scott joined ExxonMobil in 2011 after completing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines and serving as an Army Officer in the Colorado Army National Guard from 2004 to 2013.  He and his wife have three children and are excited to discover New Mexico.
