Cody Comiskey
Earth Scientist Chevron
Cody is currently an Earth Science advisor within Chevron’s Mid-Con business unit’s applied reservoir management team (ARM TEAM). Cody has been with Chevron for two years and before that was with Anadarko Petroleum Corporation for seven years working in various roles from global subsurface technology, unconventional development and appraisal, and emerging technologies.
Cody’s current focus is on induced seismicity, geomechanics, water management and analytical modeling. Cody currently leads the industry’s shared practices group in Texas focused on induced seismicity mitigation, and works closely with industry, academia and regulatory groups on seismicity education, research, and implementation of mitigation practices.
Cody holds a B.S. in geophysics from Texas Tech University and a M.S. in geophysics (seismology & tectonics) from Baylor University. Cody currently lives in Houston, TX with his wife Morgan.
