Ben Cahill is Director for Energy Markets and Policy at the Center for Energy and Environmental Systems Analysis, University of Texas at Austin. He is based in Washington, DC. He covers market and macro trends affecting the oil and gas industry, with a special focus on LNG as well as methane policy and regulations. He is a non-resident affiliate and former senior fellow of the Energy Security and Climate Change Program at CSIS. He is also a non-resident fellow at the Arab Gulf States Institute, and a regular contributor to Barron’s. Before CSIS, Ben worked at Energy Intelligence and at PFC Energy (now part of S&P Global) in Washington, DC, and Kuala Lumpur.
