[:en]Sergio Guaso has leaded, for more than 14 years, all aspects of exploration and production contracts in Mexico: from design, modeling, fiscal terms, promotion and bidding, to implementation, management advice, and follow-up mechanisms. He has been a speaker in all kinds of workshops, conferences and events, in Mexico and abroad, to communicate and discuss investment opportunities in Mexican oil industry. Mr. Guaso launched 24 oil and gas contracts, which have increased the country’s hydrocarbon reserves and production, even facing adverse conditions. He is an economist that has led, since 1990, different areas of Pemex: econometric models for the internal demand of petroleum products, determination of internal and transfer prices, strategy and negotiation of oil refining contracts in the US, and investment allocation for Pemex E&P projects. Today, he is responsible of the Administration and Finance Department at Pemex Exploration & Production.[:]
