Paula Dunlop
Director Public Affairs & Strategy, Canadian Gas Association (CGA)
[:en]Paula Dunlop is the Director of Public and Government Affairs for the Canadian Gas Association Reporting to CGA’s President and CEO, she has held this role since 2005 and has responsibility for implementing the Association’s strategic communications and government affairs efforts. Ms. Dunlop is also Deputy Editor of ENERGY magazine.
Ms. Dunlop joined CGA in 2003 as the association’s Senior Advisor, Environment and Sustainable Growth. Prior to joining CGA, she served as Manager of Communications for the Canadian Fertilizer Institute. From 1998 to 2001, she was a government relations consultant in the Ottawa of ce of SAMCI, a government relations rm. At SAMCI, she provided strategic government affairs advice to a range of clients in the energy, agriculture, and nancial services industry.
Ms. Dunlop worked on Parliament Hill from 1995 to 1998. She was a Researcher for the Leader of the Of cial Opposition.
Originally, from Burlington, Ontario, she graduated from Carleton University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and English. Paula and her husband Jeff live in Ottawa with their three children.
