[:en]Enrique has extensive experience in the private and public sectors. In 2012, he was appointed Director General of Bancomext by President Enrique Peña Nieto. Prior to joining Bancomext, Enrique was the Executive Director of Institutional Affairs and Corporate Communication for HSBC Mexico and Latin America.

He has a successful track record in Public Financial institutions as General Director of Financiera Rural, the Government’s development agency in charge of the Mexican rural sector.

He served as Executive President of the Mexican Council of the Consumer Products Industry (ConMéxico), an association that gathers 46 of the most important food, drinks and consumer product companies in Mexico. In addition, from 2000 to 2003, Enrique was a member of the Mexican House of Representatives.

Enrique graduated as a lawyer from Mexico’s National Autonomous University (UNAM) and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, at Harvard University.[:]
