Areli Covarrubias

Commercial Director, IEnova

Areli Covarrubias is the Natural Gas Commercial Director at IEnova. She has more than 12 years of experience in the Energy Sector and is responsible for the administration and commercial operation of IEnova´s natural gas assets and for the associated optimization efforts. Before this position, she was the Business and Commercial Manager and also was part of the team that managed Regulatory and External Affairs issues at IEnova. In her previous experience, before entering IEnova, she has been the legislative advisor and account executive in energy matters at Guerra Castellanos & Asociados. Areli has a degree in International Relations from the ITAM and is currently President of the Transport Committee of the Mexican Natural Gas Association.
