Alejandro De la Vega

Managing Director, Head of Structured Finance, Santander Mexico

Alejandro de la Vega joined the Santander Project & Acquisition Finance back in 2004. He is currently responsible for the Structured Finance Team which includes project finance, mezzanine, subordinated debt and asset finance among other products. During this period Alejandro has been involved in the financing and structuring of more than 60 infrastructure projects across all sectors worth over US$ 28 billion. Previously, Alejandro performed in the finance department of telecommunications companies such as TV Azteca, Unefon and Cablevision. Alejandro holds an BA in Economics from the Universidad Iberoamericana and an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) in Sydney, Australia, where he specialized in finance.
