Louisiana Energy Dialogues
The Louisiana Energy Dialogues is part of our City Series, a traveling think tank of closed-door, energy-focused discussions, held in partnership with major academic institutions from across the United States. For the first time, we are bringing the dialogue to Louisiana State University for a full-day, invitation-only gathering of energy leaders. Energy Dialogues’ City Series allows all participants to engage in strategic discussions and business driven networking to form new pathways, critical amidst an ongoing energy transition.
Highlights from the Louisiana Energy Dialogues agenda include:
- The evolution of environmental justice principles in the context of boosted natural gas production level
- Finding the balance between environmental justice, energy security and transition
- The impact of the LNG life cycle on the energy transition journey in the U.S. – how can the industry strike the right balance between energy security and net zero targets?
- LNG and pipeline projects best practices – how can we create additional transportation capacity and develop export terminals in the region?
- How is the industry measuring its environmental impact against the various regulations and tools provided by the EPA, DOE and more
- From community engagement to investments in local economies – what practical actions can we take to boost social acceptance and generate meaningful and measurable upsides?
- Fostering public-private synergies to improve coastal and territory preservation while boosting infrastructure deployment to meet domestic and international natural gas and LNG demand
