Bart Pieper has been with Marquis for 12 years. Bart oversees Marquis’ carbon strategy as well as international & new business ventures and is responsible for developing opportunities in global carbon markets & low-carbon ventures. Prior to Marquis, Bart worked in corporate finance on ventures in Central Asia and Europe, structuring investments in agriculture, construction, and taxi jets. Bart holds an M.S. in financial engineering from the University of Monaco and a B.A. in economics and marketing from Loyola University Chicago. He speaks fluent English, German & Dutch and holds a patent on Biogas technology.
