Dr. Stephanie Nitopi is a Principal at Carbon Direct Capital where she uses her expertise in carbon capture, utilization, and removal pathways to identify promising technologies, drive internal investment processes, and deploy capital into leading carbon management companies. She has also been a senior member of Carbon Direct’s early advisory business, providing strategic advisory services to help clients achieve their climate commitments. Dr. Nitopi has a background in the catalytic conversion of carbon dioxide into valuable products such as fuels and chemicals. Prior to Carbon Direct, Dr. Nitopi founded her own carbontech consulting firm, CarbonSNK LLC. She also brings diverse skills and perspectives from her stints in R&D and procurement/finance with Fortune 500 pharmaceutical and energy companies. Dr. Nitopi holds a PhD and MS in chemical engineering from Stanford University and a BS in chemical engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
