Ricardo Moreno

Director, Business Development, IEnova

Ricardo Moreno joined Sempra Energy family of companies in 2005, coordinating different external affairs functions for Sempra International, Sempra Pipelines & Storage and Sempra Mexico.

In 2012, after the acquisition by Sempra of a majority interest in the South America power distribution companies Chilquinta and Luz del Sur, Moreno assumed the role of Director of Sempra International in Peru.

In 2015 he returned to Mexico and was named Director of Business Development for IEnova.  During these past three years at IEnova Moreno has led different company’s development projects in the renewable, refined products and electric transmission sectors.

Ricardo Moreno completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration at the Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with two master’s degrees, one in public administration and another in city and regional planning. He subsequently completed various executive certificate programs in Management at Northwestern University and Energy Management and Finance at ESAN in Peru.
