Carlos Isorna
Vice President, Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets
Carlos is mainly responsible for the sourcing and execution of new investment opportunities, and asset management within the Power sector in Mexico. He currently sits on the Board of the portfolio companies GESR, a hydro facility in the state of Nayarit; and PSC, a solar PV plant in Coahuila.
Prior to MMIF, Carlos worked in Macquarie’s investment banking division (MacCap), covering mainly Power, Telecom, and Transportation sectors across Latin America.
From 2005 to 2010, Carlos worked as a business consultant at Accenture, streamlining finance processes upon M&A transactions for Telecom and Transportation companies across Europe, India, and South Africa. Earlier in his career, Carlos also worked as a medical imaging research engineer in the US and Spain.
Carlos holds a MBA from Columbia Business School in New York, and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from ULPGC University in Spain.
