Tom Greenberg

Global Head of ESG Advisory, Credit Suisse

Tom Greenberg is a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Firm’s Global Energy & Infrastructure Group within the Investment Banking Capital Markets and Advisory Division. He is based in Toronto and was formerly head of the bank’s Investment Banking and Capital Markets business in Canada.

Tom joined Credit Suisse in July 1998 and has advised numerous energy companies on landmark transactions, including advising Enbridge Inc. on its USD 47 billion acquisition of Spectra Energy, the largest deal in Canadian history, and Encana’s USD 7.7 billion acquisition of Newfield Exploration. Tom has also advised on many other important transactions, including Brookfield’s acquisition of a USD 3 billion midstream package and COP’s sale of its interest in Syncrude.

Mr. Greenberg holds a B.A. (Hons) from McGill University
