Chief Operating Officer, Colorado Oil & Gas Association (COGA)
Sarah Sandberg serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the Colorado Oil & Gas Association (COGA), and is responsible for COGA’s financial direction, day-to-day operations, events, programs, local regulatory engagement, outreach, and communication. In this role, Ms. Sandberg has helped establish COGA as a leader in innovative programming and authentic engagement strategies. Additionally, Sandberg serves as Conference Director for the Rocky Mountain Energy Summit, a prominent energy conference in the West. She is a nationally recognized speaker on hydraulic fracturing and the dynamics of Colorado’s oil and gas sector, and works with a relentless passion for the industry.
Born and raised in Baton Rouge, prior to COGA, Sandberg previously worked on communications and outreach within the Louisiana Governor’s Office, including assisting with the Deepwater Horizon oil spill response efforts and several hurricanes. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder and is currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration through the Executive MBA program at University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business. She is an avid supporter of the Mile High Chapter of the American Red Cross, and serves on the Advisory Council for the Global Energy Management graduate program at the University of Colorado, Denver and the Board of the Domestic Energy Producers Alliance.
