Senior Vice President Atlantic – Gulf, Williams

Rory Miller became senior vice president of Williams’ Atlantic – Gulf Operating Area in January 2013. Prior to that he served as president of Williams’ midstream business. Additionally, Miller serves as a director for Williams Partners L.P. (NYSE:WPZ), the master limited partnership that owns most of Williams’ domestic midstream assets.

Previously, Miller served as vice president of Williams’ onshore gathering and processing business in 2010. From 1998-2009 Miller led Williams’ deepwater infrastructure build-out, assuming the role of vice president of Gulf Coast gathering and processing in 2004. Miller started with Williams in 1990 and held various supply-area positions as well as positions in corporate development. Before joining Williams, he held similar positions with Tennessee Gas Pipeline and Delhi Gas Pipeline.

Miller is a 1982 magna cum laude graduate of Utah State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in economics. Miller was nominated to The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi in 1982 and has remained active in that organization. He received his master’s degree in organizational development in 2008 from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management.

Miller serves on the board of directors of the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA). Miller has spoken at numerous energy conferences and seminars, including Platts Energy Conference, Colorado Oil and Gas Association, various deepwater seminars and the Energy Summit at Louisiana State University Center for Energy Studies.
