Melanie Kenderdine

Principal, Energy Futures Initiative

Ms. Kenderdine served as the Director of the DOE Office of Energy Policy and Systems Analysis, as well as the Energy Counselor to the Secretary from 2013-2017. She served as the Executive Director of MITEI from 2007-2013. In addition, Ms. Kenderdine was Vice President of the Gas Technology Institute, (2001-2007). She is also a Founder and Board Member of the Research Partnership to Secure Energy for America. Previously, Ms. Kenderdine was the Senior Policy Advisor to the Secretary for Oil, Gas, Coal and Nuclear, Director in the DOE Policy Office, (1993-2001).
