Jan Rune Lochner Schøpp

Jan Rune Schøpp is Senior Vice President for the Statoil North America Domestic unit, which encompasses his roles as President, Statoil Marketing and Trading (US) Inc. division, including Crude and NGLs as well as President, Statoil Natural Gas LLC, and is currently located in Stamford, CT, US.

Jan Rune has been with Statoil ASA for 24 years, and has had an extensive career in natural gas and liquids within trading, business development, strategy, and analysis. Previously he served as Vice President, Gas Liquids within the business area Crude, Liquids and Products in Stavanger, Norway.

A Norwegian citizen, Mr. Schøpp currently resides in Westport, CT, US. He holds degrees in economics and finance from Wright State University, Ohio, and from the University of South Florida.
