Executive Vice President Unconventionals, Shell

Greg Guidry was named Executive Vice President for Shell’s Unconventionals business in 2013 and is accountable for the exploration, development, and production of unconventional oil and gas across the Americas.

Prior to his current role, Greg was based in The Hague, Netherlands where he led Shell’s Upstream Production and Midstream Gas Supply Operations for Europe.

Greg joined Shell in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1982. Throughout his career, he’s held senior management positions across the Deepwater, Onshore, and Midstream businesses.

Greg has a Mechanical Engineering Degree and chairs the Dean’s Advisory Board of the Louisiana State University (LSU) College of Engineering. He is the Chairman of the Board for Aera Energy and a member of the American Petroleum Institute (API) Upstream Committee. He is a registered professional petroleum engineer in the State of Louisiana. Greg is married with three children.
