Senior Vice President of LNG Operations for Engineering & Construction, CB&I

Don K. Hill is the Senior Vice President of LNG Operations for Engineering & Construction. With more than 38 years of experience in the LNG industry, Don provides leadership and support to CB&I’s global LNG projects and is the Executive Sponsor for one of the company’s North American LNG liquefaction projects.

Don has extensive experience in LNG and gas processing, including all phases of plant design, engineering, start-up, and testing. Don has spent much of his career in process and technology management roles on projects in the Middle East, Australia, Southeast Asia, Europe, Africa and the United States.

Don has a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Rice University, and holds three patents for cryogenic processes. He has co-authored papers on topics such as LNG technology, liquefaction design, cost optimization, and plant reliability, and has been a frequent presenter and panel member at LNG and Gas conferences. A former member of the Rice University Engineering Alumni Board of Directors, Don also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business.
