Anders Ekvall

Vice President LNG Development, Shell

Anders joined Shell in Houston in 1989 as a research engineer and has held a variety of technical, operations and commercial positions in Shell’s global Upstream and Integrated Gas businesses. During his career with Shell, Anders has also held corporate roles in business planning, strategy and greenhouse gas management. Having spent five years in Calgary, including running Shell’s in-situ heavy oil operations, Anders returned to the Integrated Gas business at the end of 2012. Anders is currently accountable for Shell’s Canadian LNG interests.

Anders is a U.S. citizen and holds a Ph.D. in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering from The University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.
