General Director, National Center for Natural Gas Control (CENAGAS)
David Madero is the Chief Executive Officer of the National Control Center for Natural Gas in Mexico (CENAGAS).
His past responsibilities include Chief Financial and Management Officer at the Treasury´s Service for Asset Management and Disposal, Credit Director at the National Development Bank for Infrastructure, management positions at the Ministry of Energy –overseeing upstream, midstream and downstream in oil and gas and participating within the PEMEX Board of Directors, and several positions in macroeconomic and financial analysis and policy design at the Mexican Treasury and Central Bank.
David Madero is an economist from ITAM, with a PhD degree in economics from University of California, Los Angeles. He has a broad experience in the Mexican public sector in public finance, macroeconomics, and public policy, with an emphasis in oil and gas.
